Jayna & Takoda’s Romantic backyard Hawaii Wedding
When a member of the Love Letter Weddings team ties the knot, you know the day will be filled with meaningful details, heartfelt moments, and a celebration to remember. Jayna and Takoda’s wedding was no exception! This local couple created a day that beautifully reflected their love for each other, their friends, and their families, all while bringing their personal style to life.
The festivities began with an outdoor ceremony at Open Palms Plantation, where Bella De Jour Florals created a stunning wavy growing aisle that perfectly framed the couple’s heartfelt vows. Surrounded by Hawaii’s natural beauty and their closest loved ones, Jayna and Takoda’s ceremony was a touching reminder of the deep connections they share with their family and friends.
The reception moved to the backyard of Jayna’s parents’ home, where the couple transformed the space into a dreamy setting inspired by their theme, “To the Moon and Back.” Jayna, with her creative touch, designed custom moon lamps that added a whimsical glow to the evening. STIR Beverage Bar Service kept guests refreshed with delicious custom cocktails, while the night was filled with live performances by Sierra Lucia, Taulia Lave, and The Green, creating a lively and unforgettable atmosphere.
A highlight of the evening was their vintage-inspired cake by Chef Caroline of Ke Nui Kitchen. It looked like it had been pulled straight off Jayna’s Pinterest board and was a sweet nod to her love for timeless, elegant design.
Jayna and Takoda’s reception was a casual yet deeply meaningful gathering, filled with laughter, music, and celebration. With friends and family at the heart of their day, the couple’s love story unfolded in a setting that was as warm and welcoming as their bond.
Their wedding was a testament to the magic that happens when love, creativity, and community come together—a night truly worth celebrating “to the moon and back.”
