ROMANTIC . CHEERFUL . Dog Friendly

Here at Love Letter Weddings, we are a huge fan of fur babies. So when these clients informed us that they wanted to incorporate their dog Bailey into their special day, we were so thrilled! In a short 4 months, the couple and I worked together to bring their vision to life with our Maid of Honor for Hire and Floral services.

The bride wanted to aim for a soft and romantic theme and to carry out their vision we opted for a pastel color palette with delicate and more airy floral arrangements. We designed the wedding day graphics to match and our floral team brought the whole look together with a stunning array of flowers with just the right pops of blush, peach, and light blue.

The wedding took place during a perfect sunny day at Lanikuhonua. Guests were welcomed with an audio guestbook where they were able to leave a message for the newlyweds. One of our favorite moments during the ceremony was Bailey getting escorted down the aisle by “security” so she could stand by her parent’s side, and the other two security guards to act as the ring bearers.

The cocktail hour was filled with so much love and laughter. Guests were greeted with a champagne wall which double as a seating chart and a photo booth was available for guests to have a special souvenir from the special day. A local musician provided the perfect background music, lawn games kept the children (and the children at heart) occupied. We especially loved the couple’s idea of having a a Dog Biscuit Bar station (the perfect favor for all the dog loving guests)! Guests mingled, ate and drank, courtesy of Bailey - according to the custom signage! As an ode to their Japanese culture as a sign of longevity and fortune, there was a paper origami art displayed all handmade from the couple’s family. As an additional favor, there were also fortune cookies set on each place setting.

Once the sun set, the guests enjoyed delicious food and cake. After some heartwarming toasts from their loved ones and enjoying a lovely first dance, everyone hit the dance floor to end the night. It was truly a wonderful evening!
