TIMELESS . RUSTIC . CELEBRATION

Majority of our clients live off island, but every once in a while we have a local client or two. This was the case for these two. When Jaylene, the bride, reached out, she had fallen in love with our style before even meeting us, and she just knew she had to hire us. It was such a compliment!

Prior to booking us, she had reserved her dream venue, Dillingham Ranch, for their wedding just under a year away. Never having had the chance to plan a wedding at Dillingham Ranch (at that point) we were over the moon! Throughout the planning, the vision was pretty clear. We were to design a timeless, romantic wedding with rustic ranch undertones. We stuck with a simple pallet of green and white and used the surrounding buildings and nature to inspire the rest of the details.

On the wedding day, we couldn’t have asked for better weather! The sun was out and a soft breeze blew through the trees throughout the day. Because the wedding party was able to stay and get ready at the ranch house, everyone was relaxed and was able to fully take in the day. Some of our favorite highlights of the day included the bride’s stunning dress, a very tasty menu, and the flowers (but we may be slightly bias in this department). We also loved having the bride and groom’s dog Rugger in all the family photos. Last but not least, we really enjoyed getting to know the bride’s family. Having had multiple meetings at their home and meeting them all in advance gave us the opportunity to really get to know them and celebrate along side them. This year we will be seeing them all over again when we coordinate her sister Pamela’s wedding in June!
